1980-25 Amending The Health Resources Advisory Council By-Laws Providing For An Executive Committee.A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AMENDING THE HEALTH
( 'RESOURCES ADVISORY COUNCIL BY -LAWS PROVIDING FOR AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Health Resources Advisory Council is
comprised of citizens from a variety of business and professional health services
throughout the community, selected for their individual expertise, and
WHEREAS, due to their business and professional commitments they are not
'.always available for each monthly meeting of the Council, and;
WHEREAS, The Borough Assarbly finds that due to the Council quorum re-
quirements and individual Council member job conflicts, a quorum of the Council
is not always present to officially conduct Council business, and
WHEREAS, in response to a request from the Council the Borough Assembly
finds it is in the best interest of the community to aatud the Council By -Laws
by establishing an Executive Committee to act for the Council in the absence

'of a quorum.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY that
.'the KIB Health Resources Advisory Council By-Laws are hereby amended as follows:
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. There is hereby established an Executive
Committee consisting of five (5) members which shall consist
of the Chairman, Vice - Chairman, and three (3) members selected
by the Council, along with two (2) alternates to be selected
by the Council. In the absence of a quorum of the Council, at
any regular or special meeting the Executive Committee or a
quorum (i.e. 3 of it's 5 members) of its members may take
action for the Council.
