RESOLUTION NO. 79 -68 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY TRANSFERRING
FUNDS FROM THE C.O.L.A. ACCOUNT TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR EMPLOYEE COST OF LIVING
SALARY ADJUSTMENTS.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly as part of the annual
operating budgetary process establishing a fund to cover cost of living salary
increase for all Borough (general government) employees. And;
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Personnel Advisory Board during
their regular meeting on November 8, 1979, reviewed the 1979 U.S. Department of
Commerce consumer price index cost increase information available and following
a discussion has recommended all Borough (general government) employees be gran
ed a 13.5 percent cost of living increase effective January 1, 1980.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that the C.O.L.A. account fund be transferred to the general fund to provide
equal percentage cost of living salary adjustment for all Borough (general
government) employees in an amount not to exceed that recommended by the
Personnel Advisory Board or available in the fund whichever results is the
lesser amount.
