A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AU-
THORIZING LEASING OFFICE SPACE FOR THE STATE LEGISLATIVE INFOR-
MATION OFFICE /TELECONFERENCING SITE.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly endorses
the need for a State Legislative Information and Teleconferencing
site located in Kodiak, and,
WHEREAS, the Assembly has provided space and support
facilities for the teleconferencing operations during FY 1979,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly does authorize and lease 826 square feet of
space in the Kodiak Island Borough Office Building, otherwise
known as Rooms 314, 315, and 316 being adjacent to and part of
Kodiak Island Borough Assembly Chambers complex.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this space is for broad
community benefit and considered a part of the common area of the
Kodiak Island Borough Office Building. Therefore, the State of
Alaska shall be requested to pay rent in the amount of Thirty -
five Cents (350) Per Square Foot to be paid monthly for the fis-
cal year 1980. And thereafter at the rate charged other occupants .
for atom of Five (5) years.
