A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
CONVEYING TAX FORECLOSED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF KODIAK
r TO THE CITY OF KODIAK AS PROVIDED IN AS 2 9.53.360.
WHEREAS, certain land parcels within the City of
Kodiak were foreclosed on for delinquent real Property taxes;
and
WHEREAS, these certain land parcels were deeded to
the Kodiak Island Borough by the Superior Court of the State
of Alaska by Deed on Foreclosure dated November 10, 1972 re-
corded in Book 21D, Pages 380 -382; Deed on Foreclosure dated
May 2, 1969 recorded in Book 21D, Pages 33 -337; and Deed on
Foreclosure dated September 2, 1971 recorded in Book 24D,
Page 170.
WHEREAS, Lots 2 and 7 of Block 1, Lot 7 of Block 6,
Lots 4B and 5A of Block 8 Leite Addition, and Lot 29 of Block
1 Kodiak Townsite all located within the municipal boundary
of the City of Kodiak were foreclosed on for delinquent real
property taxes; and
WHEREAS, AS 2 9.53.360 provides that unredeemed tax
foreclosed properties lying within a city and not required by
the borough for a public purpose are to be deeded to that city
subject to payment of the unpaid borough taxes by the city
receiving the properties.
NOW THEREFORE, the Kodiak Island Borough deeds the
following tax foreclosed parcels to the City of Kodiak upon
receipt of payment for the outstanding borough taxes;
