RESOLUTION NO. 79 -28 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY APPROVING THE
FINAL REVISED SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR THE ELDERBERRY HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION AND
ACCEPTING ALL STREETS, ALLEYS, EASEMENTS AND OPEN SPACE DEDICATIONS (LENHART
GROTHE).
WHEREAS, Mr. Lenhart Grothe has presented a revised final plat for the
approval of the Elderberry Heights Subdivision. And;
WHEREAS, said final plat was reviewed and approved by the Planning and;
Zoning Commission during their Regular Meeting held on April 18, 1979. And;
WHEREAS, Title 16.12.50 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinance
and Resolutions provides that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough
Assembly by resolution, which resolution shall provide for the acceptance of
all streets, alleys, easements, and other open space dedication to public pur-
pose.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
grants approval to the final revised plat for the Elderberry Heights Subdivision
presented by Mr. Lenhart Grothe, and all streets, alleys, easements, and other
open spaces shown on the same plat are hereby accepted.
1. The developer obtain approval from the City of Kodiak for
all sewer, water and road improvements within the subdivision.
That plans and construction of said improvements be reviewed
and approved by the City of Kodiak and that prior to recording
the plat the developer provide a letter from the City of Kodiak
indicating their acceptance of all sewer, water and road improve-
ments within the subdivision for operation and maintenance.
2. The developer shall provide a letter from the State of Alaska
Department of Environmental Conservation indicating their
approval of all required sewer and water improvements.

3. That a note be placed on the plat stating The temporary
electrical service to the city sewer lift station will
not be extended or made available to property owners
within the subdivision for electrial service"
