A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING THE RESULTS OF THE APRIL 24, 1979 SPECIAL
ELECTION.
WH EREAS, Pursuant to Law, the Kodiak Island Borough held
I a Special Municipal Election in the Borough on Tuesday, the 24th
day of April, 1979, at which time, a Proposition on the question,
"Shall the Ordinance, proposed by Referendum Petition, relating to
Off- street parking be REPEALED ?"
WHEREAS, the returns of said
election have been delivered
I to and canvassed by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly:
Section 1: That the
I —�--- Assembly finds and hereby ratifies
land declares the results of the Special Municipal Election held
within the Kodiak Island Borough on Tuesday, April 24, 1979 to be
J as follows:
THAT the Proposition on the question of Repealing the
Ordinance relating to Off - street parking received 543
votes and YES
372 NO votes. Therefore,
the Kodiak Island
Borough will 1 REPEAL the above Ordinance No. 7 8 -34 -0,
relating to Off - street parking.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
on this 30th day of April, 1979.
