A RESOLUTION OF KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY DESIG-
NATING SIGNATORIES FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS TO THE FEDERAL AND
STATE GOVERNMENTS FOR WASTEWATER COLLECTION, WATER DISTRIBUTION
AND ROAD SYSTEM DEVELOPMENTS IN SERVICE DISTRICT 1
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has determined to
design and construct wastewater collection, water distribution
and roadway systems in Service District No. 1, and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable to minimize local costs
jby obtaining grant funding from both federaland state governments,
and,
WHEREAS, applications for funding grants require the
signatures of officials of a municipality specifically authorized
to act for the municipality, and,
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is represented execu-
'tively by the Borough mayor and administratively by the Borough
manager,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Mayor, Betty J. Wallin, and Kodiak Island Borough Manager,
Stuart O. Denslow, are hereby authorized to sign as representing
Kodiak Island Borough on any funding grant applications to any
agency of the federal or state governments insofar as wastewater
collection, water distribution and road systems for Service
District 1 (Island Lake vicinity) are concerned.
