1979-11 Calling A Special Election For The Purpose Of Determining Whether Ordinance Number 78-34-0 Amending Title 17 Of The Kodiak Island Borough Of Ordinance, Relating To Off Street Parking Requirements Should Be Repealed.A RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER ORDINANCE NUMBER 78 -34 -0 AMENDING TITLE 17 OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS SHOULD BE REPEALED. Borough n RODiAK'ISLAND BOROUGn RESOLUTION NUMBER 79 -11 -R BE IT RESOLVED by the Assembly of the Kodiak Island as follows: SECTION 1. A Special Election s 24th day of April, 1979, between the hours and at such election the proposition shall duly qualified voters who are residents of Borough. PROPOSITION SHALL an Ordinance amending Title 17 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances, RELATING TO OFF - STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS. BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that SECTION 1. Section 17.57.010 8.11. of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to delete the word "three" and by substituting therefore the word "six ". SECTION 2. That portion of the ordinance amended shall read in its entirety as follows: "11. Hotel, one private parking space for each dwelling unit and one public parking space for every (three) six guest room." The election shall be in accordance with the . laws of the State of Alaska and Title 2 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions. SECTION' 3. A person who is qualified to vote in Alaska and the Kodiak Island Borough, and who is a resident of Kodiak Island Borough, may vote in the election, as set forth in Section 2.04.190 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
