RESOLUTION No. 78 -70 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
DECLARING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SURPLUS TO THE BOROUGH'S NEEDS
AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner of the
following described real property and from which it is not now
deriving any revenue:
T273, R19W, SM
Monashka Bay Alaska Subdivision
Block 1 : Lot 1
Block 4 : Lots 10 & 20
Block 7 : Lot 9
Block 8 : Lot 5
Miller Point Alaska Subdivision
Block 5 : Lot 7A
Miller Point Alaska Subdivision 2nd Addition
Block 1 : Lot 4
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed
the Borough needs of the said parcels and declared the parcels
surplus to the Borough needs now and in the future, and,
WHEREAS, the said parcels are zoned for private use and
the zoning conforms to the Borough comprehensive land use plan,
and,
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly has considered
the Planning and Zoning Commission and Manager's recommendation
to dispose of said real property,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly the following described parcels of land be
offered for sale:

Block 4 : Lots 10 & 20
Block 7 : Lot 9
Block 8 : Lot 5

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Manager prepare a land sale
to offer these parcels at a public outcry auction as soon as
possible under the provisions of Title3.00 of the Kodiak Island
rI Borough Code of Ordinances and with the following conditions:

2. No development plan or development period is required
of the successful bidder.
