RESOLUTION No.78 -68 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
INITIATING REZONING AND REPLAT OF A PORTION OF KADIAK ALASKA
SUBDIVISION OF USS 3469.
WHEREAS the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly has determined
that certain lands owned by the Borough are surplus and available
for disposal as provided in Kodiak Island Borough Code of Orlin-
lances, Title 18.00, and,
WHEREAS the platted configuration of the parcels and
the current zoning classification have been deemed inappropriate
for residential development and that corrective changes by
replatting and rezoning will be required,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly under Title 17.00, Chapter 17.72.030 does, upon
its own motion, initiate a rezoning of a portion of the Kadiak
Alaska Subdivision, more particularly described as Tracts A, 8, C,
D, E, F and G, from industrial to residential classification, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly under Title 16.00, Chapter 16.12 does, upon its own
motion, initiate the replatting of a portion of the Kadiak Alaska
Subdivision, more particularly described as Tracts A, B, C, D, E,
F and G, for the purpose of improving the configuration of parcels
for disposal under terms and conditions of Title 18.00 of the Code,
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Borough administration is
directed to proceed on behalf of the Borough Assembly to initiate
the technical procedures for rezoning and replatting in accordance,
with the terms of this resolution.
