RESOLUTION No. 78 -51A -R
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR SUBMISSION TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESIDING OUTSIDE OF CITIES, AT THE REGULAR ELECTION TO
BE HELD TUESDAY, OCTOBER 3, 1978, PROPOSITIONS AUTHORIZING EXERCISE R1 THE
AREA OUTSIDE CITIES OF THE POWERS NECESSARY TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC
FACILITIES AND SERVICES: 1) WATER FACILITIES AND SERVICES, 2) SEWER AND
SEWAGE TREATMENT, AND 3) STREETS AND SIDEWALKS.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Assembly of the Kodiak Island
Borough that there be placed on the ballot for submission to the qualified
voters of the Borough residing outside cities, at the regular election to
be held on Tuesday, October 3, 1978, the following propositions:
1) PROPOSITION: Shall the Kodiak Island Borough exercise, in the
area outside cities, the powers necessary to provide water facilities
and services.
2) PROPOSITION: Shall the Kodiak Island Borough exercise, in the
area outside cities the powers necessary to provide sewer and sewage
treatment facilities and services.
3) PROPOSITION: Shall the Kodiak Island Borough exercise, in the
area outside cities, the powers necessary to provide street and
sidewalk facilities and services.
