A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING AN
ACCESS EASEMENT ACROSS BOROUGH LAND TO THE CITY CEMETERY.
WHEREAS, the City of Kodiak has requested an access easement across
Lot 2 Hospital Subdivision in order to obtain access to the City cemeterY
located on Lot 1 Hospital Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assembly having originally conveyed the lands on
Lot 1 to the City for cemetery purposes recognizes the necessity of having
an alternate access to the cemeterY, and
WHEREAS, the requested easement area does not interfere with any
present activities taking place on Lot 2 Hospital Subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that the Assembly directs the Borough Attorney and Engineer to prepare for
execution by the Borough Mayor and Clerk, an easement document providing
access to the cemetery, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this easement access may from time to time
be relocated in order to accommodate future development on Lot 2 Hospital
Subdivision.
