KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
RESOLUTION NUMBER 78 -28 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING AN
EXCHANGE OF LAND.
WHEREAS, the St. Paul Lutheran Church has requested the Assembly
exchange Lot "C" (owned by the Borough) Kadiak Subdivision for Lot "B" (owned
by the Church) Kadiak Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the Assembly finds the proposed exchange would consolidate
the Church's ownership in this location, and
WHEREAS, the Assembly finds that upon completion of the exchange the
values of the properties are equal and no compensation will be due either
party.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Assembly of the Kodiak Island
Borough that the Borough Assembly agrees to the requested land exchange,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Borough administration is hereby
directed to prepare the necessary documents to effect the exchange and the
Borough Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said documents.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of March 1978.
