A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING THE
PREPARATION AND EXECUTION OF A STANDARD SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE VILLAGE CITIES OF AKHIOK AND OLD HARBOR.
WHEREAS, The Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances requires that all
improvements within a new subdivision be completed prior to recording the final
plat, and
WHEREAS, construction of all subdivision improvements is the responsi-
bility of the property owner, and
WHEREAS, the property owner's in this instance are the Cities of
Akhiok and Old Harbor, and
WHEREAS, the execution of a subdivision agreement for construction of
the improvements will protect the interests of the Borough and future residents
of the subject subdivisions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Assembly of the Kodiak Island
Borough that the:
1) Borough Attorney is hereby authorized to prepare the necessary
documents for such agreement, and
2) the Borough Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute such agree-
ment documents once completed and
3) file the final subdivision plats.
