RESOLUTION NUMBER 73 -38 -R
WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Sub - Chapter 1 of the Kodiak Island Borough
Code of Ordinances and Resolution provides for the assessment, levy
and collection of taxes in the Kodiak Island Borough and for equalization
hearings after notice that the assessment roll has been completed and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor has notified the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly that he has completed the 1973 tax roll - supplemental -
and has mailed assessment notices and has published notice that the
assessment roll has been completed and that such notice stated when
and where the equalization will be heard.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Equalization
of the Kodiak Island Borough shall assemble and meet for the purpose
of equalization hearings on Tuesday, January 15, 1974, at 7:30 P.M. in
the District Courtroom, State Office Building, Kodiak, Alaska, with
Wednesday, January 16, 1974, at 7:30 P.M. as an alternate date in the
event that more than one (1) day is needed to complete the hearings of
the Board of Equalization, and that the Assessor has caused notice that
the assessment rolls have been completed and it was published in the
Kodiak Mirror, a newspaper of general circulation published in the
Kodiak Island Borough on December 11th and 18th, stating that the
assessment rolls have been completed and stating when and where the
equalization hearing will be held.
