RESOLUTION NUMBER 73 -19 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH APPROVING THE VACATION OF LOT 12A,
BLOCK 3, ISLAND LAKE SUBDIVISION AND A PORTION OF LOT 1,
TRACK A, U. S. SURVEY 3465 AND REPLATTING TO LOT 12B, BLOCK
3, ISLAND LAKE SUBDIVISION, U. S. SURVEY 3219 AND U. S.
SURVEY 3465.
WHEREAS, DUANE FREEMAN has petitioned the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly for purchase of additional land in
order to clear the encroachment of existing building on the
present lots and,
WHEREAS, said petition was granted by the Borough
Assembly and said area having been declared surplus to the
Borough's need by Resolution No. 72 -37 -R and a public hearing
having been held on the rezoning of said portion of Lot 1,
Tract A, U. 5. Survey 3465,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED THAT Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly grant approval for the vacation and replat of the
following described land:
Lot 12A, Block 3, Island Lake Subdivision,
and a portion of Lot 1, Tract A, U.S. Survey 3465;
Beginning at Corner 4, Tract A, U.S. Survey 3465
Thence 5 18 37' 00" W, 51.04 feet;
Thence N 71 23' 00" W, 79.11 feet;
Thence N 18 37' 00" E, 31.04 feet;
Thence N 02 54' 20" W, 56.94 feet;
Thence S 71 23' 00" E, 100.00 feet;
Thence 5 18 37' 00" E, 32.97 feet;
Contains: 7,200 square feet more or less
be and the same is hereby replatted as Lot 12B, Block 3, Island
Lake Subdicision, U.S. Survey 3219 and Survey 3465, as shown on
the plat prepared by Roy A. Ecklund, Registered Lane Surveyor;
dated 20 November 1972, and that all streets, alleys, easements and
other open spaces shown on said replat be and the same are hereby
dedicated to public purposes, and the same are hereby excepted.
