1973-14 Vacating An Unsubdivided Portion Of U.S. Survey 1396 And Lots One Through Eight, Allman Addition And Replatting Same As Lots 1A And 2A, Allman Addition.r ' 1 3 7 KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NUMBER 73 -14 -R A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY VACATING AN UNSUBDIVIDED PORTION OF U. S. SURVEY 1396 AND LOTS ONE (1) THROUGH EIGHT (8), ALLMAN ADDITION AND REPLATTING SAME AS LOTS lA and 2A, ALLMAN ADDITION. WHEREAS, MILDRED MARKHAM, has petitioned the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission for the vacating of that unsubdivided portion of U. S. Survey 1396 bordering Lots One (1) through Eight (8) of Allman Addition and Lots One (1). through Eight (8) of Allman Addition and replatting same into Lot 1A and 2A, Allman Addition, and WHEREAS, said vacation and replat was requested for expansion of the present business district and to establish larger lots for better land use, and WHEREAS, all persons were notified that a public hearing would be held on said petition on Wednesday, February 21, 1973, at 7:30 P.M. in the District Courtroom of the State Office Building before the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission, which public hearing was duly noticed and held, and a copy of the Affidavit of Publication having been filed herein, and at which hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission recommend• ed that that above described land be vacated and replatted as Lot IA and Lot 2A, Allman Addition to the City of Kodiak and the Kodiak Island Borough being fully advised in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that an unsubdivided portion of U. S. Survey 1396 bordering Lots One (1) through Eight (8), Allman Addition and Lots One (1) through Eight (8) of Allman Addition be and the same are hereby vacated and replatted into LOT IA and LOT 2A, ALLMAN ADDITION to the City II of Kodiak pursuant to the Vacation and Replat map prepared by Roy A. Ecklund, dated March 19, 1973, and that the Kodiak I ,' it II Island Borough accept said replat in accordance with Section 40.15.140 through 40.15.180, Alaska Statutes, and accept all streets, alleys and easements, and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes as set forth in said plat.
