RESOLUTION NUMBER 73 -10 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH WITHDRAWING CERTAIN LANDS FROM THE LAND
MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough and the State of
Alaska, through its Department of Natural Resources Division
of Lands, entered into a Land Management Agreement dated
June 17, 1965, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough desires to
withdraw from said Land Management Agreement certain lands
consisting of the following:
T30S, R18W, Sewart Meridian (protracted)
Sections 5 and 6, excluding that portion lying
within the Chiniak Naval Reserve, containing 800
acres more or less, and
T29S, R18W, Seward Meridian (Protracted)
Sections 31 and 32, excluding that portion of Lots
11 and 12 within U.S. Survey 3473, all of U. S.
Survey 3474, and that portion of lands lying
within the Chiniak Naval Reserve, containing 120
acres more or less
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH ASSEMBLY Sections 5 and 6, T30S, R18W, Seward Meridian
and Sections 31 and 32, T29S, R18W, Seward Meridian be and
the same are hereby withdrawn from the control and management
of the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources
Division of Lands and will be disposed of by the Kodiak Island
Borough.
