1973-09 Vacating Lots 1 And 2, Block 14, New Kodiak Subdivision And Replat The Same As Lot 1A, And 2A, Block 14 New Kodiak Subdivision.111' 1 1 1 i n KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NUMBER 73 -g_g A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH VACATING LOTS ONE (1) AND TWO (2), BLOCK FOURTEEN (14), NEW KODIAK SUBDIVISION AND REPLAT THE SAME AS LOTS ONE A (1A), AND TWO A (2A), BLOCK FOURTEEN (14) NEW KODIAK SUBDIVISION. WHEREAS, WILTON T. WHITE AND COLEMAN CONSTANCE have petitioned the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission for the vacation of Lots One (1) and Two (2), Block Fourteen (14), New Kodiak Subdivision, in order to adjust the Easterly line of Lot Two (2) by moving the same forty (40) feet Westward, reducing the width of Lot Two (2) from 142.59 feet to 102.59 feet, so that the Easterly property line of the new Lot Two (2) will coincide with the Easterly side wall of the new Kodiak Island Baking Company Building located on said lot, and by increasing Lot One (1) pro- portionately forty (40) feet, extending the Westerly line of said Lot One (1) forty (40) feet to the West, and WHEREAS, all persons were notified that a public hearing would be held on said petition on Wednesday, the 18th day of October, 1972, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the District Courtroom of the State Office Building before the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission, which public hearing was duly noticed and held, and a copy of the Affidavit of Publication having been filed herein, and at which hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that the above- described Lots of New Kodiak Subdivision be vacated and replated to Lots One A (1A) and Two A (2A), Block Fourteen (14) New Kodiak Subdivision and the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly being fully advised in the premises, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that LOTS ONE and FA BLOCK FOURTEEN, NEW KODIAK SUBDIVISION, be and the same are hereby vacation and replatted into Lot One A and Two A, 31cck Fourteen, New Kodiak Subdivision pursuant to the Plat prepared by Roy A. Ecklund, Registered Surveyor, dated 13 November 1972, and that the Kodiak Island Borough accept said replat in accordance with Section 40.15.140 through 40.15.180, Alaska Statutes, and accept all streets, alleys and easements, and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes as set forth in said replat.
