A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH VACATING A PORTION OF U. S. SURVEY
NO. 1822 AND CREATING A SUBDIVISION DESIGNATED AS LOT ONE
( BLOCK ONE (1), OF U. S. SURVEY NO. 1822.
WHEREAS, the BAPTIST MISSION HAS petitioned the
Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission to
approve the subdivision of a portion of U. S. Survey No.
1822 to create Lot One (1), Block One (1) of U. S. Survey
No. 1822 containing 41,364 square feet.
WHEREAS, the Plannin g & Zoning Commission reviewed
this proposed subdivision and tentative approval was given
in January 1967, and
WHEREAS, due to a time lapse the BAPTIST MISSION
was requested to resubmit the preliminary plat, which plat
was approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission, as being
in compliance with the comprehensive plan as adopted by the
Kodiak Island Borough, City water is available and a twenty
foot utility easement runs along northwest and south side of
side subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that portion of
U. S. Survey No. 1822, northwest corner is hereby approved
as Block 1, Lot 1, containing 41,364 square feet pursuant to
Subdivision Plat as prepared by Roy A. Ecklund, surveyor,
dated 14 November 1972, and in accordance with Alaska Statutes
40 .15.140 through 40.15.180.
