1973-03 Vacating A Portion Of Lot 25, Of U.S. Survey 3099 And Replat The Same As Lot 25A, 25B, And 25D, U.S. Survey 3099.1 1 i " 1 'i i 1 KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NUMBER 73 - 3 - R A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH VACATING A PORTION OF LOT TWENTY -FIVE (25) OF U.S. SURVEY NO. 3099 AND REPLAT THE SAME AS LOT TWENTY -FIVE A (25A), TWENTY -FIVE B (258) AND TWENTY -FIVE D (25D), U. S. SURVEY No. 3099. WHEREAS, MARGARET EMMONS has petitioned the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission for the vacation of a portion of Lot Twenty -five (25) of U. S. Survey No. 3099 and the replatting of same into Lot Twenty -Five A (25A) Twenty -five B (25B) and Twenty -five D (25D), U. S. Survey No. 3099 and the general area surrounding said vacation has been subdivided into lots ranging in size from 5,000 to 10,000 square feet, City water supplies the lots from eight -inch main and a sanitary sewer will be connected with a six -inch line to an approved manhole with an eight -inch line and they conform with the comprehensive plan adopted by the Kodiak Island Borough, and WHEREAS, all persons were notified that a public hearing would be held on said petition on Wednesday, the 22nd of November, 1972, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the District Courtroom of the State Office Building before the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission, which public hearing was duly noticed and held, and a copy of the Affidavit of Publication having been filed herein, and at which hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that the above - described Lot 25 of U. S. Survey 3099 be vacated and replatted to Lot Twenty -Five A, Twenty -five B and Twenty -five D, U. S. Survey 3099 and the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly being fully advised in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a portion of Lot Twenty -five (25), of U. S. Survey No. 3099 be and the same is hereby vacated and replatted into Lot Twenty -five A (25A), Twenty -five B (25B) and Twenty -five D (25D) of U. S. Survey No. 3099 pursuant to the Subdivision Plat prepared by 1 ' Roy A. Ecklund, dated January 2, 1973, and that the Kodiak Island Borough accept said replat in accordance with Section 40.15.140 through 40.15.180, Alaska Statutes, and accept all streets, alleys and easements, and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes as set forth in said replat.
