1973-02 Vacating Tracts A, B1, Q & A Portion Of Tract R Of U.S.S. 3218, & To Replat Same As Tract T, Tract B3, Tract R1, Lots 1 & 2, Block 3.KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NUMBER 73 -2 -R A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAAK ISLAND BOROUGH VACATING TRACTS "A ", B1 ", "Q" AND A PORTION OF TRACT "R" OF U.S, SURVEY NO. 3218, AND TO REPLAT SAME AS TRACT "T", TRACT "B3 ", TRACT "RI" LOTS ONE (1) AND TWO (2) BLOCK THREE (3); LOTS ONE FIVE (5), AND SIX (6), BLOCK FOUR (4); A ND S LOT ONE FOUR (1), (4), BLOCK FIVE (5), KILLARNEY HILLS SUBDIVISION OF U. S. SURVEY N0. 3218. WHEREAS, the CATHOLIC ARCHDIOCESE OF ANCHORAGE has petitioned the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission for the vacation of Tracts "A" "Bl„ "Q" and a portion of Tract "R" of U. S. Survey 3218, and the replatting of the same into Tract "T ", Tract "B3 ", Tract "Rl ", Lots One (1), and Two (2), Block Three (3); Lots One (1), Two ( 2 ) , Three (3), Four (4), Five (5) and Six (6), Block Four (4); and Lot One (1), Block Five (5), Killarney Hills Subdivision of U. S. Survey 3218, and water and sewer utilities are available to all lots and the utilities easements are in the dedicated road right -of -ways and they would conform with the comprehensive plan adopted by the Kodiak Island Borough, and WHEREAS, all persons were notified that a public hearing would be held on said Petition on Wednesday, the 18th of October, 1972, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the District Courtroom of the State Office Building before the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission, which public hearing was duly noticed and held, and a copy of the Affidavit of Publication having, been filed herein, and at which hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that the above - described tracts be replatted and the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly being fully advised in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Tracts "A ", "81 ", and a portion of Tract "R" of U. S. Survey No. 3218 be and the same are hereby vacated and replatted into Tract "T ", Tract "B3" Tract "RI ", Lots One (1) and Two (2), Block Three (3); Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5) and Six (6), Block Four (4); and Lot One (1), Block Five (5), Killarney Hills Subdivision of U. S. Survey No. 3218 pursuant to the Subdivision 1') 1 ATTEST: 1 Plat prepared by Roy A. Ecklund, dated January 24, 1973, and that the Kodiak Island Borough accept said replat in accordance with Section 40.15.140 through 40.15.180, Alaska Statutes, and accept all streets, alleys and easements, and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes as set forth in said replat.
