WHEREAS, the State of Alaska Department of Highways requests transfer of the lands above described for an additional right of way for Highway Project 5 0391(4) Kodiak N.A.S. - Bruhn Point, and claims that it is necessary due to the narrow right of way in the vicinity of Russian Creek, Alaska Subdivision, which does not allow horizontal safety clearance for the Coast Page One, RESOLUTION NO. 72 - - n A • Guard's aerial power and telephone facilities, and WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has had the same appraised, the same being valued at 92x00 DOLLARS, and the Borough having the i authority under Chapter 6, Subchapter 3 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions, to transfer lands or permit their use to any State or Federal agency or political subdivision of the State, and WHEREAS, the transfer of this property to the State of Alaska Department of Highways would be in the best interests of the public and community.
