APPROVING THE HENRY BRECKBURG VACATION OF LOTS ONE (1) AND TWO
(2) AND THREE (3), BLOCK FIFTY -ONE (51) EAST ADDITION TO THE
TOWNSITE OF KODIAK AND REPLATTING THE SAME AS LOTS ONE A (1A)
AND TWO A (2A), BLOCK FIFTY -ONE (51), EAST ADDITION.

WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Section 6 of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides
that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough Assembly by
Resolution, which Resolution shall provide for the acceptance of
all streets, alleys, easements and other open spaces dedicated
to public purposes, and
WHEREAS, HENRY BRECKBURG has presented for approval
his vacation and replat of Lots One (1), Two (2) and Three (3),

and the replatting of the same as Lots One A (1A) and Two A (2A),
Block Fifty -one (51), East Addition to the Townsite of Kodiak, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
Kodiak Island Borough
held a public hearing on said vacation and
replat on the 23rd day of August, 1972, at the hour of 7:30
o'clock p.m., at which time all persons interested were invited
to be heard, and after which hearing the Kodiak Island Borough
Planning and Zoning Commission inquired into and determined the
merits of the relief prayed for, and moved for the approval of
the vacation and adoption of the final plat of the replat, which
action was by unanimous roll call vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly grant approval to the vacation and replat
presented by HENRY BRECKBURG of Lots One (1), Two (2) and Three
(3), Block Fifty -one (51), East Addition to the Townsite of
Kodiak, and replatted as Lots One A (1A) and Two A (2A), Block

Fifty -one (51), East Addition to the Townsite of Kodiak, as
shown in the plat prepared by ROY A. ECKLUND, Registered Land
Surveyor; and that all streets, alleys, easements and other
!! open spaces shown on said replat be and the same are hereby
dedicated to public purposes, and the same are hereby excepted.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 7th day of September, 1972.
