A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 5, SUBCHAPTER 4, SECTION 6
OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
APPROVING THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
DIVISION OF LANDS PLAT OF ALASKA STATE LAND SURVEY NO. 72 -11,
A 15.85 -ACRE TRACT OF A PORTION OF U. S. SURVEY NO. 2539
WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Section 6 of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides
that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough Assembly by
Resolution, which Resolution shall provide for the acceptance of
all streets, alleys, easements and other open spaces dedicated
to public purposes, and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska Department of Natural
Resources Division of Lands has presented for approval its final
plat of Alaska State Land Survey No. 72 -11, a 15.85 -acre tract,
being a portion of U. S. Survey No. 2539, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
Kodiak Island Borough approved said final plat on June 21, 1972,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly grant approval to the final plat
presented by the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources
Division of Lands of Alaska State Land Survey No. 72 -11, a
15.85 -acre tract of land, being a portion of U. S. Survey No.
2539, prepared by Roy A. Ecklund, Registered Land Surveyor, and
that all streets, alleys, easements and other open spaces shown
on said plat be and the same are hereby dedicated to public
purposes', and the same are hereby accepted.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6th day of July, 1972.
