A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 5, SUBCHAPTER 4, SECTION 6
OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
APPROVING THE VACATION AND REPLAT OF A PORTION OF U. S. SURVEY
NO. 1396 AND LOTS FIFTEEN (15) THROUGH TWENTY -TWO (22) OF BLOCK
ONE (1) OF THE ALLMAN ADDITION
WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Section 6 of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides
that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough Assembly by
Resolution, which Resolution shall provide for the acceptance of
all streets, alleys, easements and other open spaces dedicated
to public purposes, and
WHEREAS, HAROLD SARGENT and JOHN FRAY have presented
for approval their final plat of the vacation and replat of a
portion of U. S. Survey No. 1396 and Lots Fifteen (15) through
Twenty -two (22), Block One (1), Allman Addition to the City of
Kodiak, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
Kodiak Island Borough approved said final plat on the 21st day
of June, 1972,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly grant approval to the vacation and replat
of a portion of U. S. Survey No. 1396 and Lots Fifteen (15)
through Twenty -two (22), Block One (1), Allman Addition as
replatted to Lots Fifteen A (15A), Seventeen A (17A), Nineteen A
(19A), Twenty -one A (21A), Block One (1), Allman Addition to the
City of Kodiak, as shown in the vacation and replat prepared by
Roy A. Ecklund, Registered Land Surveyor, and that all streets,
alleys, easements and other open spaces shown on said plat be
and the same are hereby dedicated to public purposes and the

same are hereby accepted, and that portion of Lots Fifteen (15)
through Twenty -two (22) of Block One (1) of the Allman Addition
to the City of Kodiak as shown thereon, be and the same are
hereby vacated.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6th day of July, 1972.
