RESOLUTION NUMBER 72 -17 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 5, SUBCHAPTER 4, SECTION 6
OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
APPROVING
OF LAND N WITHIN W U. S . VACATIO
SAME INTO
LOTS S -1, S -2, S -3 AND S -4
WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Section 6 of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides
that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough Assembly by
Resolution, which Resolution shall provide for the acceptance of
all streets, alleys, easements and other open spaces dedicated to
public purposes, and
WHEREAS, RUSSELL A. WRIGHT, INC. and RUSSELL WELBORN
d /b /a WELBORN CONSTRUCTION, a Joint Venture, have presented for
approval their final plat of the vacation of a thirty -acre parcel
of land within U. S. Survey No. 3218, and replatting of the same
into parcels S -1, S -2, S -3 and S -4, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
Kodiak Island Borough approved said final plat on the 19th day
of April, 1972,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly grant approval to the final plat presented by
RUSSELL A. WRIGHT, INC. and RUSSELL WELBORN d /b /a WELBORN
CONSTRUCTION, a Joint Venture, of a vacation of a thirty -acre
parcel of land within U. S. Survey No. 3218, and replatting of
the same into parcels S -1, S -2, S -3 and S -4, prepared by Roy A.
Ecklund, Registered Land Surveyor, and as shown and contained in
Drawing dated April 17, 1972, and that all streets, alleys,
easements, and other open spaces shown on said plat be and the
ATTEST
same are hereby dedicated to public purposes, and the same are
hereby accepted.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of May, 1972.
