S. SURVEY NO. 1 681, AND REPLATTING (15AA)E TO F IVE (5), SIX (6), THIRTEEN A LEITE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SIXTEEN A(15 A) S BLOCK ONE 11 EN A KODIAK , U SURVEY NO. 16 1681 WHEREAS, BEULAH SHORT, F. WARD, H. OLSEN and E. PARKER have petitioned the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission for the the vacation of the North and South halves of Lot Five (5), Lots Six (6), Thirteen (13), Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15) and Sixteen (16), Block One (1), Leite Addition and replatting the same to Lots Five (5), Six (6), Thirteen A (13A), Fourteen A (14A), Fifteen A (15A), (16A), Block One (1), Leite Addition to U. S. Survey No. 1681, and have stated that the purpose of the vacation was to clear existing building encroachments and to facilitate the obtaining of clear title, and have further requested that an exception be granted for the lot width and ' size, as these lots were subdivided prior to the present Zoning Ordinances and the lots are presently fifty (50) feet i '� d wide, more or less, and contain approximately 5,000 square 7 f eet, more or less, and a WHEREAS, all persons interested were notified that held on said Petition on Wednesday, '1 a public hearing would be i I the 15th day of December, j I in the District Courtroom I the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and public hearing was duly I of Publication 1971 at 'I Page One, RESOLUTION NO. 72 -6 -R the hour of of the State Office Sixteen A the City of Kodiak, 7:30 o'clock Building before p•m• Zoning Commission, which noticed and held, a copy of the Affidavit having been filed herein, and at which hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that the above described property be vacated and replatted, and the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly being fully advised in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the North and South halves of Lot Five (5), Lots Six (6), Thirteen (13), Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15), and Sixteen (16), Block One (1), Leite Addition, U. S. Survey No. 1681, be and the same are hereby vacated and replatted as Lots Five (5), Six (6), Thirteen A (13A), Fourteen A (14A), Fifteen A (15A), and Sixteen A (16A), Block One (1), Leite Addition to the City of Kodiak, U. S. Survey No. 1681, pursuant to the Subdivision Plat Plan prepared by Roy A. Eckland dated January 9, 1972, and in accordance with Section 40.15.140 through 40.15.180, Alaska Statutes, and that the Kodiak Island Borough accept all streets, alleys and easements and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes as set forth in said replat.
