RESOLUTION NUMBER 71 -35 -R
WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Subchapter 1 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code
of Ordinances and Resolution provides for the assessment, levy and
collection of taxes in the Kodiak Island Borough and for equalization
hearings after notice that the assessment roll has been completed and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor has notified the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that he has completed the 1971 Supplemental Tax Roll and has
mailed assessment notices and has published notice that the assessment
roll has been completed and that such notice stated when and where the
equalization hearings will be heard,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Equalization of the
Kodiak Island Borough shall assemble and meet for the purpose of equali-
zation hearings on Monday, November 29th, 1971, at 7:30 P.M. in the
District Courtroom, State Office Building, Kodiak, Alaska, with Tuesday,
November 30th, 1971, at 7:30 P.M. as an alternate date in the event that
more than one (1) day is needed to complete the hearings of the Board of
Equalization, and that the Assessor has caused notice that the assessment
rolls have been completed and it was published in the Kodiak Mirror, a
newspaper of general circulation published in the Kodiak Island Borough on
November 4th and llth, 1971 stating that the assessment rolls have been
completed and stating when and where the Equalization Hearings will be
held.
