A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH VACATING LOTS NINE (9), TEN (10) AND ELEVEN (11),
BLOCK THREE (3) OF THE LEITE ADDITION AND REPLATTING THEM TO
LOTS ELEVEN A (11A) AND NINE A (9A), BLOCK THREE (3), LEITE
ADDITION
WHEREAS, EANNER SMITH and ROGER BRYANT have
petitioned the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning
Commission for the vacation of Lots Nine (9), Ten (10) and
Eleven (11), Block Three (3) of the Leite Addition to the City
of Kodiak and the replatting of the same into Lots Nine A (9A)
and Eleven A (11A), Block Three (3), Leite Addition, and it
appearing that with the replat Lot Ten (10) will be eliminated
and the two (2) remaining lots will be enlarged in width so
that Lot Eleven A (11A) will have sixty (60) feet of frontage
on Mission Road instead of fifty (50) feet, and Lot Nine A (9A)
will have 90.14 feet of frontage on Mission Road instead of
50 feet, and they would conform with the comprehensive plan
adopted by the Kodiak Island Borough, and
WHEREAS, all persons interested were notified that
,I. a public hearing would be held on said Petition on Wednesday,
the 29th day of September, 1971 at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m.
in the District Court Room of the State Office Building before
the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission, which
public hearing was duly noticed and held, a copy of the Affidavit
of Publication having been filed herein, and at which hearing
the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that the above
described Lots Nine (9), Ten (10) and Eleven (11), Block Three
(3) of the Leite Addition to the City of Kodiak be vacated and
replatted as Lots Nine A (9A) and Eleven A (11A), Block Three
(3), Leite Addition, and the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
' being fully advised in the premises;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Lots Nine
(10) and Eleven (11), Block Three (3), Leite Addition to
the City of Kodiak be and the same are hereby vacated and
replatted as Lots Nine A (9A) and Eleven A (11A), Block Three
(3), Leite Addition to the City of Kodiak pursuant to the
Subdivision Plat Plan prepared by Roy A. Ecklund, dated
September 24, 1971, and in accordance with Section 40.15.140
through 40.15.180, Alaska Statutes, and that the Kodiak Island
Brorough accept all streets, alleys and easements and other
open spaces dedicated to public purposes as set forth in said
replat.
