WHEREAS, JACK FREDERICKSEN and PHYLLIS FREDERICKSEN
have petitioned the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning
I Commission for the vacation of Lots Four (4) and Five (5),
' Block One (1), Shahafka Acres Subdivision and the replatting of
the same into Lots Four A (4A) and Five A (5A), Block One (1),
Shahafka Acres Subdivision, and it appearing that with the
replat Lot Four A (4A) will contain 40,000 square feet and
Lot Five A (5A) will contain 55,268 square feet, and there is
a ten -foot utility easement dedicated along the Westerly lot
line of said lots and they would conform with the comprehensive
plan adopted by the Kodiak Island Borough, and
WHEREAS, all persons were notified that a pubis_
hearing would be held on said Petition on Wednesday, the 27_..
day of August, 1971 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the District
Room of the State Office Building before the Kodiak Island '_rough
Planning and Zoning Commission, which public hearing was a.:1
noticed and held, and a copy of the Affidavit of Publicat::n
having been filed herein, and at which hearing the Planning
and Zoning Commission recommended that the above - described
Lots Four (4) and Five (5), Block One (1), Shahafka Acres
Subdivision, be vacated and replatted into Lots Four A (4A)
and Five A (5A), Block One (1), Shahafka Acres Subdivision,
and the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly being fully advised :.
the premises;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Lots Four (4)
and Five (5), Block One (1), Shahafka Acres Subdivision be
and the same are hereby vacated and replatted into Lots Four A
(4A) and Five A (5A), Block One (1), Shahafka Acres Subdivision
pursuant to the Subdivision Plat prepared by Roy A. Ecklund,
dated September 27, 1971 and that the Kodiak Island Borough
accept said replat in accordance with Section 40.15.140 through
40.15.180, Alaska Statutes, and accept all streets, alleys
and easements, and other open spaces dedicated to public
purposes as set for in said replat.
