A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
REQUESTING THE REMOVAL OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE 1971 TAX
FORECLOSURE LIST
WHEREAS, Lot Six (6), Block Two (2), Miller Point
Alaska Subdivision is presently on the Kodiak Island Borough
Foreclosure List for 1971, and this property was formerly
owned by Miss Rita Jo Brown, but has reverted back to the
Kodiak Island Borough effective August 26, 1971, due to a
default and termination of her contract, and
WHEREAS, Special Use Permit No. 117 was formerly
held by D. N. Hoylman of Moser Bay, Alaska, and this property
was sold to Donald Slater on February 9, 1962, who received
Special Use Permit No. 148 and the Borough has been
taxing the same parcel listed under two different Special Use
Permits from 1964 through 1970.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak
Island Borough request that this error be corrected by the
Court to conform to Law, and that the Kodiak Island Borough
Foreclosure List for 1971 be changed accordingly.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 16th day of September, 1971.
