A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CORRECTION DEED BY THE BOROUGH
CHAIRMAN AND BOROUGH CLERK TO CORRECT AN ERROR IN A DEED
HERETOFORE GIVEN BY THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH TO THE UNIVERSITY
OF ALASKA
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough, by Resolution
Number 71 -16 -R, conveyed certain properties to the University
of Alaska, which properties were surplus to the Borough's
needs, and
WHEREAS, said Deed was dated July 1, 1971, and
executed by the Borough Chairman and the Borough Clerk and
in the third paragraph of the description in the penultimate
sentence of said paragraph, the same contains a recitation
of a course and distance of N 50 ° 30'33" W, 80.43 feet, which
distance should have been 90.43 feet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly that the Borough Chairman and the Borough
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute a Correction
Deed to the University of Alaska, correcting the error in the
Deed from the Kodiak Island Borough to the University of
Alaska dated July 1, 1971, by correcting the error contained
in the third paragraph in the penultimate sentence of said
paragraph, changing the same from N 50 ° 30'33" W, 80.43 feet
to N 50 ° 30'33" W, 90.43 feet.
