A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSc'T4BLY DECLARING
CERTAIN PROPERTY SURPLUS TO THE EOROUGH's NEEDS AND AUTHORIZING THE
BOROUGH CHAIRMAN TO CONVEY TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA SAID PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner of several
acres of land from which it does not derive any revenue, and
WHEREAS, the Borough has received requests from the University
of Alaska seeking to purchase these lands and in particular, property
situated in the Kadiak Alaska Subdivision.
NOW THEREFORE SE IT RESOLVED, by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that the following tract of land:
A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN KADIAK ALASKA SUBDIVISION, U. S.
SURVEY 3469, Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska described as follows:
Commencing at Corner 9, U. S. Survey 3469, thence
S 89 ° 53' E, 310.23 feet along the Northerly Boundary of
said survey to the Easterly R.O.W. of Mill Bay Road,
THE TRUE POINT OF BFGINNING
THENCE S 89 °53' E, 1244.51 feet; along the Northerly
Boundary of U. S. Survey 3469 to the Westerly R.O.W. of
Woody Way; thence 5 44 °43' 57" E, 1215.64 feet more or less
along Woody Way to intersect the Nprtherly R.O.W. of Alaska
Highway Project 5- 0389(4), a tangent at said point bears
S 46° 59' 28" W;
THENCE the following courses along said R.O.W.;
On a curve to the Right thru a central angle of
28° 24' 27" having a radius of 718.51 feet, are distance of

THENCE N 50° 30' 33" W, 80.43 feet to intersect the Easterly
R.O.W. of Cutoff Road

BE AND THE SAME ARE HEREBY declared surplus to the Borough's
needs and further now pursuant to the Kodiak Island Borough's Code of
Ordinances and Resolution, the Borough Chairman be and he is hereby
authorized to convey all of the Borough's right, title and interest
in and to said property to the University of Alaska.
