RESOLUTION NUMBER 71 -10 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY SURPLUS TO THE BOROUGH'S NEEDS AND
AMHESIZING A SALE
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner of several
hurxd:. acres of land from which it dces not derive any revenue whatsoever,
and
WHEREAS, the Borough has received requests from interested
parties from time to time seeking to purchase sae of these lands and in
particular, property situated in the Bell's Flats and Russian Creek Sub-
division and in the Port Lions Subdivision, 1st Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that the following tracts of land:
Russian Creek Subdivision: Tracts A through F and
Tracts H through Q, 16 tracts comprising 120.33 Acres and
Lots No. 1 through 26, 26 lots comprising 117.28 Acres, all
classified as "Unclassified" and
Bell's Flats Subdivision: Lots 1 through 7, Block 1;
Lots 1 through 5, Block 2; Lots 1 through 5, Block 3;
Lots 1 through 7, Block 4; Lots 1 through 4, Block 5;
Lots 1 through 3, Block 6; Lots 1 through 20, Block 7, a total
of 51 Lots comprising 300.73 Acres, classified as
"unclassified"
U. S. Survey 3101 - Lot 25, 1 lot containicg 0.92 Acres
and classified as "Unclassified"
Port Lions Subdivision, 1st Addition: Lots 10 through 17,
Block 13; Lots 1 through 15, Block 16; Lots 1 through 12,
Block 18, 35 lots comprising approximately 22 acres and
classified as "residential"
BE AND THE SAME ARE HEREBY declared surplus to the Borough's
needs and the State Division of Lands is hereby requested to have said properties
appraised and prepare and publish a notice of public sale of said lands as
provided under the Borough's Land Management Agreement with the Division of
Lands.
