A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
APPROVING THE ANNUAL Cat4UNITY WORK PROGRAM FOR 1971 AND THE GOALS
AND OBJECTIVES AS SET FORTH IN THIS REPORT.
WHEREAS, the City of Kodiak is in the process of making
application for water and sewer facilities grants, and
WHEREAS, Department of Housing and Urban Development has
certain ramuirannnts for HUD Certifications, and
WHEREAS, through the powers already delegated to the
Kodiak Island Borough by the Borough Act, the State Enabling
Legislation, and through use of the Kodiak Island Borough Comprehensive
Plan, these requiratents can be met, and
WHEREAS, the requirements as set forth in HUD Circular
MPD 6415.3A and 2A respectively, include establishment of an Annual
Work Prvjseu and establishment of Goals and Objectives for the Area,
and
FURTHER, in accordance with the requirements the reports
have been prepared by the Overall Economic Development Committee with
the assistance of the fine of Tryck, Nyman and Hayes in correlation
with the updating of the Borough's Comprehensive Plan and approved by
that Committee; said reports being approved by the Kodiak City Council
at their meeting on May 27, 1971.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that the reports as submitted are approved by the Assembly.
