EIECTICN HELD MAY 4th, 1971, ATHORIZING THE BOROUGH TO EXPEND TWO HUNDRED
FORTY THOUSAND AND NO /100ths ($240,000.00) DOLLARS OF Public Law 815 funds
for construction of elementary school building and multi- purpose unit at
Ouzinkie, Alaska.
WHEREAS, at a Special Election held in the Kodiak Island Borough,
Alaska, (hereinafter referred to as the "Borough ") on Tuesday, May 4th, 1971,
pursuant to Resolution No. 71 -5-R and other resolutions and ordinances of
the Borough, the qualified electors of the Borough voted on the following
Proposition:
"Shall the Kodiak Island Borough be authorized to expend TWO
HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND AND NO /100ths ($240,000.00) DOLLARS of Public Law 815
funds which it is entitled to receive from the United States Government; said
expenditure to be for construction of an elementary school building and multi-
purpose unit at Ouzinkie, Alaska, together with appurtenances and auxiliary
space and site development necessary for said structures."

"Expenditure P.L. 815 Finds — NO / "
WHEREAS, The Borough Assembly having canvassed the votes of all
duly qualified voters of the Kodiak Island Borough find that 4/0 voted
in favor of the Expenditure and voted against the expenditure and
that there were 456 total votes cast at this Special Election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, by the Borough Assembly of the
Kodiak Island Borough that pursuant to the canvass of the votes the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly finds that authorization for expenditure of P.L. 815
Funds for the construction of the Ouzinkie School and multi- purpose unit,
together with appurtenances and auxiliary space and site development necessary
for said structures, have been approved.
Be and the same is hereby in all respect ratified and confirmed.
