1971-07 Declaring Certain Real Property Surplus To The Borough's Needs And Authorizing It's Sale.and
WHEREAS, the Borough has received a request from
FLOYD WARD and WANDA WARD to purchase said property and
accordingly has had the same appraised, and the same being
valued at TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY -SEVEN and No /100ths
($2,567.00) DOLLARS and this sum having been offered as the
reasonable price of said land by said persons,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly that the following- described tract
of land situated in the Kodiak Recording Precinct, Third
Judicial District, State of Alaska, to -wit:
Lot Fourteen, (14), Block One (1), Leite
Addition to the City of Kodiak
Which the Borough acquired pursuant to its 1967
Tax Foreclosure and which was formerly owned by ZARA WILSON,
be and the same is hereby declared surplus to the Borough's
needs and the Borough Chairman is hereby authorized to sell
the same to FLOYD WARD and WANDA WARD for the appraised
I cost plus the cost of the appraisal of THIRTY -FIVE and
No /100ths ($35.00) DOLLARS, the total sale price being TWO

WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner
of Lot Fourteen (14), Block One (1), Leite Addition, which
it acquired under and pursuant to its 1967 Tax Foreclosure
and from which land it does not derive any revenue whatsoever,

ASSEMBLY DECLARING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SURPLUS TO THE

DOLLARS, and to execute a Deed pursuant to this Resolution.
