1971-06 Declaring Certain Property Surplus To The Borough's Needs And Authorizing A Sale.A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY DECLARING
GAIN PROPERLY SURPLUS TO THE BOROUGH'S NEEDS AND AUTHORIZING A SALE
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner of several
hundred acres of land from which it does not derive any revenue, and
WHEREAS, lands previously sold at Auction have been returned
to the Borough through default of contract and further lands have
been acquired through tax foreclosure, and
WHEREAS, the Borough has received requests from interested
parties from time to tine seeking to purchase some of these lands,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that the following parcels of land:
Miller Point Alaska Subdivision: Lot 4, Block 1; Lot 3, Block 4;
Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, Block 5; Lots 1, 5, 6, Block 7 and
Miller Point Alaska First Addition Subdivision: Lots 2 & 7, Block 2;
Lots 1 & 3, Block 3; Lots 4, 6 &7, Block 4; Lots 3, 4, 6, 10 & 11,
Block 5 and Lot 3, Block 10. All zoned "Unclassified"
Kadiak First Addition - Lot 1, Block 1 - zoned "R -3"
Kadiak Subdivision - Unit 5, Tract "A", "E" and "G" zoned "Industrial"
Monashka Bay Subdivision - Lots 1 & 18, Block 2; Lots 11 & 22, Block 4;
Lots 1 & 8, Block 5; Block 7- Lots 10 & 17, zoned "Unclassified."
U. S. SURVEY 3103 - Lot 5 - zoned "Unclassified."
U. S. SURVEY 2730 - Lots 18 and 21 - zoned "Conservation."
Leite Addition - Lots N1 /2 of 5, Lot 7 and 14, Block 1; Tot 17A,
Block 3; Lot 10, Block 6; Lot 6, Block 7 - zoned "R -1"
'Dumpsite Addition - Lot 29, Block 1; Part Lot 24, Block 14 - zoned
Business for Lot 29 and fat 24 zoned "R-2"
BE AND THE SAME ARE HEREBY declared surplus to the Borough's needs
and the State Division of Lands is hereby requested to have said properties
apprised and prepare and publish a notice of public sale of said lands as provided
under the Borough's Land Management Agreement with the Division of Lands.
