A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH AUTHORIZING THE BOROUGH CHAIRMAN TO CONVEY TO
THE ESTATE OF KIMBALL D. POLAND CERTAIN LANDS ACQUIRED BY THE
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH THROUGH TAX FORECLOSURE PROCEEDINGS, THE
GRANTEE HAVING PAID ALL DELINQUENT TAXES THEREON
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough on the 18th day
of December, 1969 having adopted Ordinance No. 69 -35 -0 which
authorizes the disposal of tax - foreclosed lands to the former
record owner or his successor or assigns when all liens and
claims arising out of an assessment for taxes have been paid, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough having acquired
by Deed of Foreclosure Lot Two (2), Tract D of U. S. Survey
No. 3218 through an error in the Office of the Assessor, said
lot having been assessed to KEITH HOLSTEAD when in truth and
fact the same was owned by KIMBALL D. POLAND and the lot which
had been owned by KEITH HOLSTEAD, to -wit: Lot One (1) of Tract D
of U. S. Survey 3218 having been sold by him to LELAND FRANKLIN
and RACHEL ROGERS, who had paid all taxes on said lot and there
having been no taxes assessed against the lot owned by KIMBALL D.
(POLAND through error, and
WHEREAS, the same now having been corrected and all
delinquent taxes having been paid plus penalty and interest
and a proportionate share of the costs and attorney's fees
incurred by the Borough in the foreclosure proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island
Borough that pursuant to the Kodiak Island Borough Code of
and Resolutions, the Borough Chairman be and he is
,'hereby authorized to convey all of the Borough's right, title
and interst in and to said property known and described as:
