A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 5, SUBCHAPTER 4, SECTION 6
OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
APPROVING THE SARGENT SUBDIVISION OF LOT NINETEEN (19) OF
U. S. SURVEY NO. 3099
WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Section 6 of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions
provides that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough
Assembly by Resolution, which Resolution shall provide for the
acceptance of all streets, alleys, easements of other open
spaces dedicated to public purposes, and
WHEREAS, NEIL SARGENT has presented for approval
his final plat of the Sargent Subdivision of Lot Nineteen (19)
of U. S. Survey No. 3099, subdividing Lot Nineteen (19) into
Block One (1), Lot One (1), Two (2), Three (3) and Four (4), and
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission of the
Kodiak Island Borough approved said final plat on November 20,
1968, which plat was approved subject to the posting of bond or
installation of utilities, and
WHEREAS, a letter has now been received that the
utilities have been installed as required and have been
accepted by the Superintendent of Utilities of the City of Kodiak
as having been inspected and accepted and said subdivider,
having now complied with the conditions of acceptance of his plat,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly grant approval to the final plat presented by
NEIL SARGENT of the subdivision of Lot Nineteen (19) of U. S.
'Survey No. 3099 into Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3) and
'Four (4) of Block One (1) of the Sargent Subdivision and that

all streets, alleys, easements, and other open spaces shown on
said plat be and the same are hereby dedicated to public
purposes and the same are hereby accepted.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 10th day of November, 1970.
