RESOLUTION NUMBER 70 -19 -R
WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Subchapter 1 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of
Ordinances and Resolution provides for the assessment, levy and collection of
taxes in the Kodiak Island Borough and for equalization hearings after notice
that the assessment roll as been completed and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor has notified the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that he has completed the 1970 tax roll - supplemental - and has
mailed assessment notices and has published notice that the assessment roll has
been completed and that such notice stated when and where the equalization
hearings will be heard,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Equalization of the
Kodiak Island Borough shall assemble and meet for the purpose of equalization
hearings on Tuesday, September 15th, 1970, at 7:30 P.M. in the District
Courtroom, State Office Building, Kodiak, Alaska, with Wednesday, September 16th
1970, at 7:30 PM. as an alternate date in the event that more than one (1) day
' is needed to complete the hearings of the Board of Equalization, and that the
Assessor has caused notice that the assessment rolls have been completed and it
was published in the Kodiak Mirror, a newspaper of general circulation published
in the Kodiak Island Borough on August 20th and 27th, 1970 stating that the
assessment rolls have been completed and stating when and where the Equalization
Hearings will be held.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of September, 1970.
