A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT FROM THE KODIAX ISLAND
BOROUGH IN FAVOR OF GLACIER STATE TELEPHONE COMPANY
WHEREAS, Glacier State Telephone Company is extending
its telephone lines into the Monashka Bay Area and has requested
an easement from the Kodiak Island Borough over property owned
by the Borough described as:
Ten (10) feet on either side of the center line
consisting of the lot line between Lots Eighteen and
Nineteen of Block Seven (7) of the Monashka Bay
Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is desirous of
seeing telephone service extended to this area to improve t C:e
protection and believes that it is in the best interest of ze
public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak island
Borough Assembly that the Chairman and Borough Clerk be and they
are hereby authorized to execute an easement in favor of the
Glacier State Telephone Company to be used in common with others
for Utilities purposes over, upon and across the following
described tract or parcel of land owned by the Kodiak Island
Borough, to -wit:
Ten feet on either side of a center line consisting
of the lot line between Lots Eighteen (18) and
Nineteen (19) of Block Seven (7) of the Monashka Bay
Subdivision.
