1970-13 Acceptance Of Housing And Urban Development Payment In Lieu Of Taxes In The Aleutian Homes, Inc. Subdivision Of The East Addition, Kodiak, Alaska.WHEREAS, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development has
agreed to make a payment in lieu of taxes equal to real estate taxes
that would otherwise be levied on the properties for the period of
January 1, 1970 through May 31, 1970, now owned by the Government, in
the Aleutian Hares, Inc., subdivision of the east addition, Kodiak,
Alaska; and
WHEREAS, said Secretary has accordingly submitted an
Agreement which has been duly read in open meeting, fully considered in
accordance with all pertinent rules of procedure and legal requirarents,
and made a part of the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly's records; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable that said Agreement be accepted;
NOW, THERE DRE, be it resolved by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that the said agreement, a true and correct copy of which is
hereto attached, be and the same hereby is accepted without reservation
or qualification, and the proper officials of the Assembly are authorized
to execute documents evidencing such acceptance and take such further
action as may be necessary.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY on
