1970-08 Authorizing The Borough Chairman To Execute A Deed Conveying Lot 1 Of U.S. Survey #3098 To The City Of Kodiak.A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
AUTHORIZING THE BOROUGH CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A DEED CONVEYING
LOT 1 OF U.S. SURVEY #3098 TO THE CITY OF KODIAK.
WHEREAS, Ordinance #68 -4 -0 and Chapter 6.3 of the Kodiak
Island Borough Code cf Ordinances and Resolutions authorizes the
conveyance of Borough lands lying and being within an incorporated
city, and not being used or needed for Borough purposes to be
conveyed to such city for less than the appraised value when
deemed necessary in the interest of the public and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner of propert
described as:
Lot 1 in U.S. Survey #3098, situated on the easterly
shore of Lily Lake and which lot has been improved by
the city and used by the city in conjunction with the
Municipal Airport for a number of years and was con-
veyed to the Borough by the State of Alaska in order
to expedite the transfer of this property to the city,
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that
a tract of land owned by the Kodiak Island Borough and described
as:
Borough purposes and
conveyed to the City
a number of years in
improved said property therefore the Borough Chairman is hereby
specifically authorized to execute a conveyance of said land to th
City of Kodiak.
