A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
DESIGNATING THE MONTH OF MAY AS CLEAN -UP MONTH ON THE ISLAND OF
KODIAK.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that
the Month of May be and the same is hereby designated as clean -up
month on Kodiak Island and that all cities, incorporated and
unincorporated villages and all residents and inhabitants of the
Kodiak Island Borough be and they are hereby urged to actively
participate in organized clean -up campaigns throughout the Borough
in order that any fly- breeding material, refuse and accident
hazards may be removed and disposed of in a sanitary manner and
all cities, incorporated and unincorporated villages, communities
and individuals of the Borough are urged to sponsor and promote
clean -up campaigns among the residents, schools and businesses in
furtherance of the observance of this Community Clean -up Month of
May.
