KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -4 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK IS-
LAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER FIVE, SUB- CHAPTER FOUR, SECTION
SIX OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLU-
TIONS APPROVING THE THOMAS J. FELTON PLAT OF TRACT "A" OF A POR-
TION OF U.S. SURVEY NO. 2735.
WHEREAS, Chapter Five, Sub- chapter four, Section six of
the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions pro-
vides that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough Assembly
by Resolution and which resolution shall provide for the accep-
tance of all streets, alleys, easements or other open spaces dedi-
cated to public purposes, and
WHEREAS, Thomas J. Felton, has presented for approval
his final plat of tract "A" of a portion of U.S. Survey No. 2735,
consisting of five (5) acres, more or less, and the same shows
an access road to the said five acre tract with the notation that
access to tract "A" across U.S. Survey No. 2735 shall be over
existing roadway as shown on attached plat, until such time as
U.S. Survey #2735 is sub- divided and a dedicated right of way
provided and suitable alternate roadway is provided. U.S. Survey
No. 2735 as showing not bordering on Chiniak Road or a public
highway, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Kodiak
Island Borough approved said final plat on December 30, 1969.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly grant approval to the final plat presented by
THOMAS J. FELTON of tract . "A" of a portion of U.S. Survey +2735
consisting of five (5) acres, more or less and in its acceptance
thereof notes that access to tract "A" across U.S. Survey `.o.
2735 shall be over the existing roadway as shown on the said plat
until such a time as U.S. Survey No. 2735 is sub- divided and a
dedicated right of way provided and suitable alternate roadway
. is provided to U.S. Survey No. 2735 from Chiniak Road.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 8th day of January, 1970.
