GENERAL REGULATIONS SECTION 13.01.190 CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS
AND TO AMEND TITLE 16 SUBDIVISIONS TO ADD TO CHAPTER 16.70
IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED A SECTION 16.70.050 CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS
WHEREAS, the current standards and specifications adopted by the Kodiak Island
Borough for road, storm drain, water and sewer subdivision improvements is the City
of Kodiak's specifications; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kodiak recently adopted an updated version of the Standard
Construction Specifications; and
WHEREAS, all Kodiak Island Borough improvements, other than roads, should be
constructed in accordance to the latest edition of the City of Kodiak's Standard
Construction Specifications; and
WHEREAS, Title 13 and Title 16 need to cross - reference these specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature and shall be a part
of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
Section 2: Title 13 Utilities Chapter 13.01 General Regulations
Section 13.01.190 Construction standards is hereby amended
as follows:
Section 13.01.190 Construction standards. The city of Kodiak Standard Construction
Specifications
are adopted by reference and incorporated within this title and shall be
