1995-03 Amending Title 2 Architectural/Engineering Review BoardKODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ORDINANCE NO. 95 -03 Introduced by: Assembly Requested by: Architectural/ Engineering Board Drafted by: Borough Clerk Introduced: 04/06/95 Public Hearing: 04/20/95 Adopted: 04/20/95 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES TITLE 2 CHAPTER 2.45 ARCHITECTURAL /ENGINEERING REVIEW BOARD WHEREAS, the Architectural /Engineering Review Board recommended that the board be reduced to a seven member board; and WHEREAS, the Architectural /Engineering Review Board recommended that the school board representative be a non - voting member; and WHEREAS, the Architectural /Engineering Review Board recommended minor word changes in the code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH THAT: Section 1: This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature and shall become a part of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances. Section 2: Title 4 Chapter 2.45 Architectural /Engineering Review Board are hereby amended as follows: 2.45.010 Established. There is established the architectural /engineering review board, which shall consist of Trine - ( - 9} voting members, to be appointed by the assembly. The board shall be subject to the provisions of chapter 2.39 of this code. 2.45.030 Qualifications. Seven - (7) members of the board shall be residents and qualified voters of the borough and shall have an interest and a wide range of experience in engineering, architecture, building, plumbing, roofing, electrical installation, and other related fields involving the building business.
