AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 4 SERVICE AREAS
BY ADDING SECTION 4.15.075 REPORTS AND MINUTES
WHEREAS, the office of the clerk is the official custodian of documents of the
Kodiak Island Borough; and
WHEREAS, service area board minutes are official journals of proceedings of the
meetings and become a part of the history of the borough;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature and shall become a
part of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
Section 2: Title 4 Service Areas is hereby amended by adding Section 4.15.075 as
follows:
4.15.075 Reports and minutes. The service area board shall keep minutes of the
proceedings, and such minutes shall record the vote of each member upon every
question formally presented for consideration. The minutes shall be filed in the office
of the clerk and shall be a public record open to inspection by any person.
